1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of http://meiam.org/ (the "Service"), operated by MEIAM ("I", "me", or "my"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

These Terms are effective as of 11 August 2026.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

To use certain features you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at Jazmin@meiam.org of any unauthorised use.

8. Payments, Subscriptions and Refunds

If you purchase a paid feature or subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Any refund policy we offer will be stated at the point of purchase.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service, and your use of them is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers ("As Is")

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MEIAM and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Surrey, United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at Jazmin@meiam.org and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Surrey, United Kingdom.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
